This successful company specialises in low volume production engineering for various industries such as Mining, Rail, Transport, Defence, and many other industries around Australia. They have proactive and strong sales and management team that is very successful and now they need an additional person to assist in further growth. The primary purpose of the role is to assist in the achievement of the sales budget & support the BDM, by being the internal "link" with Clients. You will be working alongside the manager and will be involved with internal sales, estimating, and quoting machining work, managing orders current and new, reading client, and internal drawings, communicating with existing and new potential clients, and getting involved with developing new business. You will develop and maintain a positive client relationship and hence the conversion of appropriate business opportunities. The most important part of this role is the ability to quote machining work and follow up. This is a career position; we are looking for someone for the long term.
