About the Role
This role requires a motivated individual to lead and supervise staff in a fast-paced café environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently and within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and train staff to ensure they are meeting customer service standards.
* Support and uphold systems and procedures to maintain high-quality operations.
* Meet budget targets by effectively managing resources and minimizing waste.
* Motivate and lead by example, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
* Deliver exceptional customer service by handling complaints and feedback in a professional manner.
* Handle cash and ensure accurate till management to prevent errors and discrepancies.
* Ensure compliance with OH&S standards to maintain a safe working environment.
* Manage stock control to prevent overstocking and minimize losses.
The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and time management abilities, with strong prioritisation and multitasking capabilities. They will be able to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
