RN Employment Services, focus and objective of the Remote Australia Employment Service RAES is to provide local people with sustainable employment. The Consultant role is responsible for providing the highest quality case management service and support to the people of our region.
The Consultant is responsible for supporting job seekers into training, employment and enterprise opportunities, developing realistic job plans for individuals, within a case management framework, mentoring participants to overcome barriers to employment in a culturally competent manner.
About you
•Previous experience in case management, including use of ESCN system highly desirable
•Previous experience in developing high quality relationships with people from different linguistic and cultural backgrounds (especially indigenous peoples)
•Sound organisational skills including attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously with limited supervision as well as participate in a team environment
•Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
•Ability to work within a compliance framework and achieve results in a timely fashion
•Empathy and understanding of the issues and challenges faced by staff and job seekers in remote communities
Essential Licences / Clearances
•NT Drivers Licence (Class C) desirable
•MUST pass a National Police Check
•MUST have or be able to obtain NT Working with Children (Ochre) Card
