Fellow (Uncle Bob’s Neurology Fellowship 2027) – Neurology
About The Role
This is a Fixed Term Full Time position to cover the 2027 Fellowship program for 12 months, at 1 Full Time Equivalent (FTE) / 86 hours per fortnight, within the Neurology Department.
The Fellowship includes a mix of service and training activities. The Fellow will be supervised in clinical duties, which will include outpatient management, inpatient management, inpatient consultations, routine EEG reporting, and after‑hours emergency management.
What You’ll Achieve
You will obtain broad‑based experience and competence in clinical child neurology. The Fellowship will expose you to sub‑specialty services including epilepsy and neuromuscular services. Clinics, ward rounds, and consultation reviews are all supervised by a consultant and conducted in a teaching format.
Requirements
* MBBS or equivalent is mandatory.
* Royal Australasian College of Physicians advanced trainee (or equivalent), who has completed basic general paediatric training and has an interest in paediatric neurology, or intends to train as a paediatric neurologist.
* International Medical Graduate applicants must ensure they have passed the required English language test as per the AHPRA website https://www.ahpra.gov.au/Registration/Registration-Standards/English-language-skills.aspx.
* Current National Criminal Record Check, or willingness to obtain.
* Valid Working with Children Check.
* Compliance with RCH staff immunisation procedure and vaccination requirements.

Other Conditions
