The Role: We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PIZZA CHEF to join our professional team on a permanent, full-time or casual basis. We can tailor to suit your needs.Come to work and enjoy working in a friendly enviroment, and locally renowned restaurant. Specialising in Italian Cuisine, we are open 7 days for lunch and dinner with a seating capacity of 250 people, plus a very busy takeaway section so you will be required to work weekends, mainly Friday and Saturday nights from 5 to 9pm. Skills and experience:
Ideally, you are a proficient individual with a passion for Pizza. Driven to provide the best quality pizza consistently. You must possess the following skills to be considered for the role:
* Full Australian working rights (this is a long term position, requiring unrestricted Australian working rights)
* Minimum 1 years’ experience
* Previous experience with Italian Pizza cuisine
* Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant or pizzeria
* Love working in a team
* Excellent presentation skills
* People Management Skills
* Positive, can-do attitude
* Hands-on and lead-by-example
* Calm patient persona in a busy environment
* Able to Freely Share your skills and Knowledge openly
* Have a desire to teach others chefs without fear
* Involve yourself in menu and business decisions

* Day to day operation of our food offering with the support of the
General Manager
* Building relationships with regular and local clientele
* Training, and development of your teamAs we make the Traditional Napolitana dough (24-48 hr) with modern toppings (the best of both worlds) this position will involve (but not limited too) the following Tasks:
* managing the pizza section and team (up to 6 people)
* making pizza dough
* stretching dough by hand
* pizza prep of all the toppings
* checking stock levels
