Day Hospital Partners (“DHP”) is an expanding network of day hospitals, currently with facilities in Townsville and Darwin, with more locations on the horizon.
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Storeperson to play a vital role in ensuring our Townsville Day Hospital runs efficiently. You will manage all aspects of the supply chain, including packing, unpacking, stock control, ordering, and supportive project work to improve our processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unpack deliveries; accurately check contents against delivery manifests.
- Pack, label, and distribute supplies to clinical areas in a timely manner.
- Track inventory movements and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor stock levels and place orders to maintain optimal supply.
- Keep storage areas organised, compliant, and clean.
- Lead or support project work to enhance or implement new processes and systems.
About You
- Experience in stores, stock control, warehouse, or logistics (healthcare setting advantageous).
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and reliable record keeping.
- A sound level of computer proficiency or demonstrated experience working with excel spreadsheets
- A collaborative team player with good communication and initiative.
