The Library is seeking to fill an ongoing Program Manager, Public Programs APS6 role in the Community Engagement Section of the Engagement Branch.
The Program Manager will play a key role in the strategic development and delivery of public programming at the Library.
We are looking for a strong team player who can plan and deliver engaging lectures, discussion panels, award ceremonies and many other public events. We need someone who is calm and confident under pressure, able to represent the Library in a range of forums, confident in approaching and securing talent, briefing executives on progress, and can lead multiple contract and corporate staff. This role requires highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
We need someone who can draw on the Library’s flexible working arrangements to work out of hours and on weekends. We also need someone who can take a strategic approach to developing programming that meets Library objectives.
To succeed in this role:
* You must have, or the ability to quickly acquire a Working With Vulnerable People registration.
* Ability to perform regular on-site, out of hours work such as evenings and weekends.
