Your role
This role defines and designs end-to-end data and system workflows, including ingestion, processing, validation, and integration. It evaluates existing platforms to improve performance, scalability, and cloud cost efficiency, while implementing robust security and access controls. The role also supports testing, data validation, and ongoing operational documentation.
You will play a key role in:
* Design end-to-end data workflows, including ingestion, transformation, validation, orchestration, and integration to consuming systems.
* Produce target-state and current-state (as-is / to-be) artefacts, including process flows, data flow diagrams, and interface specifications.
* Evaluate existing systems, data platforms, and processing pipelines to identify gaps and recommend improvements in architecture, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
* Develop and maintain data processing workflows and pipelines in accordance with approved designs.
* Contribute to roadmaps and iterative modernisation plans
* Validate data outputs using data analysis techniques; support UAT and defect triage.
Your profile
* Bachelor's degree in information systems, Computer Science, Data/Software Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* Experience with ETL tools like Azure Data Factory, Databricks etc.
* Proven experience in business/system analysis within data-centric environments, preferably in large financial or Banking Domain.
* Hands on experience with programming languages such as Python.
* Proficiency in SQL and data validation techniques; comfortable with profiling, reconciliation, and exploratory analysis.
* Understanding of data governance (e.g., data catalogues, quality frameworks, MDM).
* Hands-on understanding of data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, validation, orchestration) and integration patterns (batch/streaming).
* Excellent stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and documentation skills.
