This position requires a Fire Panel technician & programmer that has worked within the fire industry. The position will be responsible for programming, maintaining, and commissioning/Programming electrical fire panels. The role is also required to carry out testing on wet & dry fire systems.
As a Fire Alarm Technician, you should possess an in-depth knowledge of fire systems and compliance with the Australian Standard AS1670. The successful person will be part of a specialist team focused on service, repairs & maintenance work. The role is working closely with the Service Scheduler and Service Manager.
Although you will report to the Service Manager, this is a self-directing position, where you will usually work alone and will need to take responsibility for prioritizing your daily workload to meet set deadlines. Good communications skills and an exceptional customer service focus are essential for success in this role as you will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction.
IN ORDER TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
- Preferred A Qualified Electrician but not essential
- Previous experience as an Electrical Fire Technician
- Have gained experience in the same role previously
- In depth knowledge of fire systems, programming fire panels
- Possess a high level of technical knowledge
- Problem and fault solving skills
- Ability to communicate well with clients
- Customer service driven attitude
- Drivers Licence
- Be a driven team player with a positive attitude

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
