Location: Maitland Indoor Sports Centre (Rutherford)
Hours: Approx. 4 hours per shift – Tuesdays, Fridays &/or Sundays

Maitland Indoor Sports Centre is looking for a reliable, confident Senior Sports Centre Staff Member to assist in keeping our indoor netball and soccer competitions running smoothly.
About the Role
You'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our busy indoor sports centre, helping ensure games run on time and players enjoy a safe, fair, and friendly sporting experience.
Your duties will include:
* Game Coordination: Monitoring games, marking players off game sheets, liasing with Referees and Umpires, assigning bibs, and distributing sports equipment.
* Customer Service: Handling payments, canteen sales, and responding to player enquiries.
* Centre Standards: Maintaining cleanliness and presentation throughout the facility.
* Code of Conduct: Monitoring player behaviour and ensuring our rules are followed.
* Problem Solving: Handling player or team issues and managing difficult conversations with confidence and fairness.
About You
We're looking for someone who's dependable, confident, and enjoys working with people in a lively sporting environment.
You'll need:
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A confident, calm approach when dealing with challenging situations
* Proven reliability and initiative in customer service or sporting roles
* A genuine interest in indoor sport and community recreation
* Availability for Tuesday, Friday or Sunday shifts
