Drive business growth as a Customer Business Manager for the Baby and Childcare Portfolio within Coles Supermarkets. This role requires strategic planning, analysis, and collaboration to achieve optimum profitability and market share.
About the Opportunity:
* The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing customer and promotional plans that drive volume and sales budgets.
* They will work closely with the Demand Planning team to develop accurate sales forecasts using account replenishing contacts and Promax systems.
* The role involves inputting into long-term strategies to meet future customer requirements, including EDLP, Exclusive Pack offers, and Value-added initiatives.
* Achieving DPSM within Coles of KCA products is crucial, using Category Management principles, Business & Category reviews, Field Cycle Programs, Space Management, and other resources.
* The successful candidate will also lead National Category and Customer Plans through customer and stakeholder collaboration.
Priorities & responsibilities include:
* Developing, analyzing, implementing, and managing customer and promotional plans to achieve volume and sales budgets.
* Providing thorough analysis of Trade Investment, Profitability, Return on Investment, Sales Performance, Supply Chain, and Receivables to support the review and negotiation of Coles Trading Terms.
* Leading the development and maintenance of strong trading relationships with key Customers and stakeholders to achieve superior competitive advantage for KCA.
* Communicating effectively with superiors and others who have a need to know, being informative without being obtrusive or vexatious.
About You
* You should have strong sales and influencing skills, sound product knowledge – KCA and competitor.
* Strong financial management skills, budgeting, and forecasting skills are essential.
* You should have knowledge of the Grocery channels and highly developed oral and written communication skills.
* Comprehensive knowledge of KCA policies and procedures is required, as well as strong knowledge of category management principles.
Desirable:
* Tertiary degree qualified preferred.
* Previous FMCG Experience in a Tier 1 Supplier.
