Our trainers work with our students through face-to-face and online contact to deliver training, support, and assessment. Training may be provided in the Hunter, Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, or Central Coast regions, so travel may be necessary for this position.
As an IT Trainer & Assessor you will:
* Be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and interactive training sessions tailored to students at various levels including trainees, job seekers and individuals with Literacy Language and Numeracy (LLN) gaps.
* Create comprehensive lesson plans, presentations, and assessments to enhance the learning experience of our students.
* Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.

What you'll bring to the table
We employ trainers who are actively engaged in industry practice whilst teaching, giving students insight into current industry processes and trends.
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
* Minimum ICT40120 Certificate IV or higher in Information Technology (IT)
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
* Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Experience working in the Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector.
* Strong computer skills and experience using Microsoft Suite programs and Office 365.
* Experience delivering training to students with barriers to education and training will also be highly regarded.
