Cancer Care Specialist Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Cancer Care Specialist to join our team in Launceston, Tasmania.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to work as a clinical nurse consultant in prostate cancer care. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical teams, and contributing to the development of cancer care services.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing expert nursing care to patients with prostate cancer
* Leading multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement cancer care strategies
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
* Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
* Relevant postgraduate qualifications or willingness to complete a postgraduate certificate in prostate care nursing and/or cancer nursing
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This role offers a competitive salary package, including:
* A salary range of $114,851 to $121,886 per annum, pro rata
* A 10% postgraduate allowance based on qualification type
