Your Role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a key role in delivering person centred support tailored to each individual’s needs, preferences and goals. Your work will empower people living with disability to build independence, confidence and meaningful connections. We are currently looking for passionate Disability Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis, working across our services including Greene Villa and Castlereagh Industries. This role offers flexibility and variety, making it ideal for someone seeking meaningful casual work.
Your Responsibility
* Assisting participants to achieve their personal and employment goals through coaching and daily support
* Delivering supports in line with individual care and support plans
* Providing assistance with personal care, daily living skills and overall wellbeing
* Encouraging community participation and social connection
* Working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
* Maintaining accurate and professional records
You Will Need
* A genuine passion for supporting people and making a difference
* Willingness to obtain or current Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Attention to detail with record keeping
* NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to complete
* Current First Aid certification
* Vaccination Certificate
