Job Description
Join a growing team working out of a brand-new workshop with modern facilities, quality tooling and well-maintained heavy road transport assets. We are looking for a Heavy Transport Diesel Mechanics who take pride in their work and want to be part of a company that genuinely invests in its people, equipment and ongoing improvements.
You'll work alongside an experienced team in a safety-focused environment with access to the tools, support and training needed to succeed and build a long-term career.
Workshop Highlights Include

Two roster options are available (home after every shift)
* 2:1 roster – 7 days, 7 nights, 7 off
* Even time roster – 7 days, 7 off, 7 nights, 7 off

A Day in the Workshop Might Include
* Maintaining equipment in line with OEM specifications and compliance standards
* Diagnosing faults accurately and safely
* Reporting emerging issues or faults to management
* Managing work orders and promptly responding to driver and workshop requests
* Completing documentation and inputting data accurately into systems

Qualifications
* C Class Driver's Licence, or HR Licence (preferable)
* Minimum 2 years in maintenance & repair of heavy vehicle and/or trailers (Volvo & Mack preferable)
* Australian Recognised Trade Certificate - Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic
* Experience in vehicle inspections and electric & repairs to heavy duty trucks and trailers
* Heavy vehicle authorised examiner certification (desirable but not essential)
* Willing to complete a pre-employment medical
* Applicants must hold a current National Police Clearance or be willing to obtain one prior to commencement
