Boutique Disability Services is seeking a compassionate and reliable Disability Support Worker to join a small, consistent team supporting two male participants with complex support needs in Beeliar and Kelmscott.
Each participant currently receives approximately 6 hours of support per week, and we are ideally looking for one dedicated support worker who can provide consistent support across both participants and build strong, positive relationships.
There is potential for hours to increase for the right applicant as services grow.
This role is well suited to someone who values building trust with participants, working in a calm structured environment, and providing thoughtful, person-centred support.
About the role
You will support participants in their home and community, helping them live safely and meaningfully in their daily lives.
Supports may include:
* Assistance with daily living and personal care
* Providing calm supervision and safety support
* Implementing a Behaviour Support Plan developed by a registered practitioner
* Supporting community access and outings
* Creating a consistent, respectful and supportive environment
Consistency and patience are key in this role, and the right support worker will enjoy getting to know participants and supporting them to feel safe and understood.
What we’re looking for
We are seeking a support worker who is:
* Compassionate, patient and emotionally intelligent
* Experienced supporting people with complex or higher support needs
* Comfortable implementing behaviour support strategies
* Able to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
* A strong communicator who documents supports clearly
* Reliable and committed to providing consistent support
Mandatory requirements
* Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or equivalent
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Current First Aid and CPR
* Current driver’s licence (essential)
* Willingness to complete additional training if required
* Ability to work as part of a small, consistent team
