Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Painter and Decorator with a passion for large-scale projects. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for enhancing the visual appeal and durability of various facilities, leaving a lasting impact on the communities we serve.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, and sanding.
• Select and mix paints, stains, and coatings to achieve desired colours and finishes.
• Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Ensure proper masking and protection of adjacent surfaces.
• Repair and patch surfaces as needed.
• Coordinate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator on large-scale projects is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a strong sense of craftsmanship.
• Physical stamina and dexterity for prolonged periods of painting and standing.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation to project sites.
• Safety certification and knowledge of safety procedures preferred.
