About the Role
Duxton Pubs is on the lookout for a commercially minded Category Manager - Beverage to join the team. If you're passionate and driven to help shape our beverage offering across a diverse portfolio of venues this is the job for you
The Category Manager – Beverage is responsible for optimising procurement, strengthening supplier partnerships and driving commercial performance across our beverage categories. You will develop and execute strategies that enhance revenue, improve margins and support sustainable growth. Using data-driven insights, you'll identify cost efficiencies, negotiate supplier terms and shape pricing and product mix.
Lead the execution of category and sub-category strategies that deliver revenue growth, improved margins and long-term value.
Manage supplier relationships through a structured SRM program focused on performance, innovation, promotions and value delivery.
Execute strategic sourcing and procurement practices to enhance profitability and supplier performance.
Develop pricing strategies for both on-premise and retail to maximise revenue and maintain competitiveness.
Build and maintain an optimal product range aligned to customer demand, venue needs and commercial targets.
Oversee effective utilisation of assets such as taps, stock and fridge space to drive sales and supplier support.
Stay ahead of industry and market trends to identify new growth opportunities.
Partner closely with marketing, operations and retail teams to align category initiatives with broader business goals.
Use data, dashboards and insights to track category performance and identify action areas.
Identify supply chain and process improvements that deliver efficiency, cost savings and revenue uplift.
What You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain or similar (or equivalent experience).
3+ years' experience in category management, procurement, commercial or retail roles, hospitality, beverage or FMCG experience

Proven ability to grow revenue and improve category profitability.
Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience in pricing, performance analysis and supplier management.
Data-driven mindset with strong analytical capability.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
A strategic, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for continual improvement.
