You will be managing existing accounts as well as acquiring new customers depends on the territory assignment. Success will be clearly defined and there will be room for creativity to achieve your targets.As a Senior Major Account Executive - New and Existing Accounts, you will be responsible for:Utilizing marketing resources to create/manage a high-volume sales pipelineWorking closely with sales engineers, internal support resources and channel partners to ensure consultative engagement with prospectsFarming the existing customer account with the upsell or cross sell of new products/solutionPlanning and executing on new customer acquisition within territory expertiseRecording customer development activities within a CRM to ensure operational excellenceCommunicating effectively with all levels of prospective buyers(including executives) and internally at AkamaiDo What You LoveTo be successful in this role you will:Have relevant sales experience and experience in new business acquisitionHave experience selling cloud computing solutionsHave experience selling cyber security software solutions to Enterprise customersHave a proven track record in over-achieving quarterly/annual quotas with enterprise level targetsHave high ethics, integrity, and be very self-motivatedDemonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to build trusting relationships with customersWork in a way that works for youFlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
