Role Description
This is a part-time or full-time, on-site General Practitioner role based in Fitzroy, VIC. The General Practitioner will provide patient-centered primary care and address a broad range of medical conditions, with a focus on the biopsychosocial health framework. Responsibilities include conducting medical assessments, diagnosing and managing illnesses, developing treatment plans in collaboration with patients, and maintaining accurate medical records. Practitioners will also work closely with a multidisciplinary team, participate in professional development activities, and contribute to an integrated care approach to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications
* Expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to assess and manage a wide variety of health conditions
* Knowledge of Family Medicine practices and experience in offering personalized, patient-focused care
* Willingness and ability to engage in ongoing Training and professional development
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
* Formal qualifications in medicine (e.g., MBBS) and full registration with relevant medical boards
* Awareness of and experience working within the biopsychosocial health model is a plus
