**The Role**
Our General and High Plus Foster and Kinship Care team currently have an exciting opportunity for a Clinician to join our Caboolture team on a Permanent Full-time basis.
This role is responsible for clinical oversight and direction in order to provide high quality, out-of-home care and support for children, young people, and their families where possible, to bring about therapeutic change as informed by the Mercy Community Model of Practice in a needs-based, trauma sensitive and relationship/attachment focused framework in order to assist them to reach their full potential. This role will primarily focus on children, young people and their carers in High Plus placements.
This position offers a competitive annual salary of $88,762 - $92,773 plus superannuation (dependent on qualifications and experience). You will also have the opportunity to increase your take-home pay by salary sacrificing and other benefits
**To be eligible for this position you will require**:
- Hold a 3-4-year tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology or related discipline.
- Significant experience in providing high-level assessment, care planning and intervention for children and young people in family based out of homecare.
- Previous leadership experience within a social welfare context.
- Queensland Provisional Green (P2) or Open Driver's Licence.
- Ability to obtain positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and any other legislatively required personal history screening as required.
- Evidence of current vaccination against Whooping Cough or willingness to obtain prior to commencement.
