The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of skilled maintenance fitters and electricians to ensure smooth plant operations. You'll play a key role in coordinating breakdown responses, preventative maintenance schedules, and continuous improvement initiatives to support production reliability.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of maintenance tradespeople across mechanical and electrical disciplines
* Coordinate and prioritise maintenance activities to minimise downtime and maximise production efficiency
* Oversee preventative and reactive maintenance plans
* Drive continuous improvement projects across reliability, safety, and equipment performance
* Ensure compliance with all WHS, quality, and food safety standards
* Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement plant upgrades and process improvements
About You
* Trade qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Fitting (Cert III or higher)
* Proven leadership or supervisory experience within Manufacturing - food not mandatory
* Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
