About the role
CSBS Group are seeking an experienced female Team Leader for a permanent full-time position of 76 hours per fortnight. This role involves supporting Participants throughout the Ipswich Region with complex health needs, ensuring their safety, well-being, and quality of life in a home environment.
What You'll Do:
· Direct Support: Deliver hands-on care, assisting participants with daily tasks and activities, both in their home and the community.
· Team Leadership: Motivate and support teams by providing training, coaching, and ensuring a positive working environment within the NDIS framework.
· Coordination: Oversee the smooth running of SIL locations, consult on rostering, documentation liaising with key stakeholders and daily operations.
· Networking: Building community and professional relationships across the Ipswich Region to attract new participants and maintain strong connections with local support coordinators, community groups, and health professionals.

About you
You will need experience in a similar role, and have a knack for coaching, inspiring and mentoring others to deliver exceptional support in sometimes challenging environments.
You will have sound time-management, decision-making processes, be a great communicator and advanced skills to juggle a range of priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace.
You will be willing to develop your skills and complete the essential training and professional development opportunities provided to successfully lead and model positive behaviours in a team setting.
You will have a commitment to person-centred care and ethical practice, strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across disciplines.
In addition to your leadership skills, the ideal candidate will have experience supporting people who require:
• Nursing background or clinical skills
• MAYBO training
• Experience working within restrictive practices
To be considered for this role, you will need:
· Strong leadership skills: Ability to lead, mentor, and guide team members using a person-focused approach within a recovery-oriented framework.
· Experience working with support networks: Prior experience working with support networks, nominees, and guardians to create holistic and integrated supports for individuals with disability.
· NDIS knowledge: Knowledge of, or willingness to learn, NDIS legislation, practice standards, and code of conduct.
· Clearance checks: NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
· Blue Card: Positive Notice Blue Card.
· Driver's license: Open Queensland Driver's License with comprehensive vehicle insurance.
· First Aid and CPR: Current First Aid and CPR certification
