The Tasmanian Health Service is seeking interest from suitably qualified applicants for a challenging and rewarding role as Registrar - Refugee Health.
The successful applicant will be working one specialised clinic per week, providing day-to-day management of private and public inpatients and outpatients within the allocated site/facility.
**Key Responsibilities**
The Registrar is responsible for:
* Providing after-hours emergency care as determined by the relevant work unit.
**Requirements**
To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess:
* General or limited registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
* Current Working with Children Registration (where applicable and as determined by individual position requirements).
**Essential Skills and Qualifications**
The ideal candidate will have:
* A medical degree and relevant qualifications.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
**Benefits**
This role offers a competitive salary range of $134,930 to $189,005 per annum, plus up to 10 hours protected training time (pro rata). Consideration will be given to job share (2x 6-month placements).
