Our client, a leading name in transport and logistics, is looking for an experienced and reliable Yard Supervisor to join their team based in Revesby. This role is perfect for a supervisor with a forklift licence who enjoys hands on work & supporting a small team.
Hours: Must be flexible to start between 6am - 8am & OT when required.
Payrate: $50 p/hr + Super
Key Responsibilities:
As part of the team, your main responsibilities will include:
* Supervise and participate in the day to day yard and warehouse duties
* Operate forklift counterbalance and high reach
* Loading and unloading trucks and shipping containers
* Maintain an organised warehouse and yard, ensuring freight is stored neatly and labelled appropriately.
* Assist drivers with load placement, staging areas, and basic documentation as required.
* Support a smooth daily workflow to minimise delays or congestion.
About You:
To be successful in this opportunity you will possess the following:
* Valid LF Forklift licence (Essential)
* Proven experience in a supervisory role (Minimum 1 year)
* Solid understanding of warehouse operations and safety
* Knowledge of load restraint and CoR compliance
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
