The business is a leader in the provision of water evaporation, water management, underground ventilation, sound attenuation and noise control solutions.With over 150 years combined experience, the business has successfully delivered thousands of 'world-first' projects for hundreds of clients across the globe.About the RoleThe primary purpose of the role is to lead strategic sourcing initiatives, negotiating long-term supplier contracts, and building resilient supply frameworks across domestic and international markets.This role will be based in our North Sydney office.Key Accountabilities:Lead strategic sourcing activities and negotiate multi-year supplier agreementsDevelop and implement category strategies (e.g., fabricated steel, imported components)Establish and manage supplier scorecards, KPIs, and performance evaluationsCollaborate closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure effective executionProactively manage supply risks, including FX hedging, lead-time buffering, and freight arrangementsDrive procurement innovation and systems integrationEssential Experience & Skills:Mid-senior experience in strategic sourcing or procurement leadership rolesProven expertise within the Australia/APAC region in long-term contract developmentStrong analytical, negotiation, and supply market evaluation skillsProficient in ERP systems and analytical tools (Excel, Power BI)Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skillsIndustry experience in mining, construction, manufacturing or heavy industrial environment is highly regardedCulture and BenefitsMinetek is an organisation with strong company values, a business that cares about the personal and professional development of its employees.
