About This Role
Join a high-performing Upstream S&E team supporting operations. This role integrates safety and environmental leadership across operations, projects, and contractor interfaces, driving HSSE performance and compliance.
* Provide S&E leadership to strengthen safety culture and operational discipline.
* Partner with internal departments and contractors to ensure safety and environmental compliance.
* Deliver technical advice and implement S&E management systems aligned with regulatory standards.
* Support risk management, contractor assurance, and incident investigation processes.
* Drive engagement on safety culture, continuous improvement, and Goal Zero initiatives.
Requirements
* Degree in Safety or Environmental Science (or equivalent).
* Strong experience in safety and environment roles (O&G preferred; mining/heavy industry considered).
* Proven operational experience at the frontline with construction or operations teams.
* Strong knowledge of Queensland safety and environmental legislation.
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement, risk assessments, and contractor management.
