About the Role
This role provides vital support to staff and patients through quality imaging services. As a key member of the Imaging Department, you will assist with daily imaging operations and patient care.
Responsibilities include coordinating bookings, preparing patients for scans, supporting clinical teams to ensure smooth workflow, maintaining equipment, and managing stock levels.
You will work in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective time management are essential. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in healthcare and technology.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
* Technical Skills: Experience with Microsoft Office and knowledge of hospital computer systems such as iPMS, Radnet, Cerner, Powerchart.
* Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, staff, and clinical teams.
* Certification: TAFE or College training in patient care including CPR, specimen collection, taking and recording temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, blood glucose, and wound care.
* Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as an effective team member demonstrating initiative, judgment, and analytical skills.
