What's the role?

Medium Rare Content Agency is looking for a Content Director to lead and elevate the Officeworks content ecosystem across print, digital and video. This is a 12-month contract starting May 2026.

This is a senior leadership role that blends editorial vision with operational excellence. You will set the content direction, ensure best-in-class creative output and drive a program that continuously evolves through new ideas, formats and campaigns.

You will also play a key role in building strong client relationships, leading a high-performing team and delivering work that reflects the quality and ambition of Medium Rare.

Responsibilities

You will lead the Officeworks content team, overseeing the end-to-end planning, creation and delivery of content across Officeworks Magazine, the Noteworthy hub and YouTube, supported by owned and paid channels.

* Lead content strategy and delivery across print, digital, and video
* Oversee planning and production for Officeworks Magazine, Noteworthy, and YouTube
* Ensure all content meets high editorial standards and aligns with brand and audience needs
* Drive content innovation and new formats to grow engagement
* Manage workflows, timelines, budgets, and resourcing
* Use performance insights to optimise content and shape future direction
* Partner closely with internal teams and the client to evolve the program
* Act as the key client contact, building strong, trusted relationships
* Lead and develop a high-performing content team

Who are you?

* An experienced content leader with a strong editorial background
* Proven experience managing teams and delivering multi-channel content
* Highly skilled in commissioning, writing, and editing
* Strong planning, workflow, and project management capabilities
* Able to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
* Client-focused, with a proactive and solutions-driven approach
* Confident presenting insights, trends, and recommendations
* An excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills
