We are seeking a highly skilled Engagement Officer and Senior Engagement Officer to join our team in Western Australia. This role involves delivering impactful government initiatives that support the aspirations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a high level of cultural awareness. They will be able to work within legislative frameworks, navigate sensitive environments, and build trust across diverse audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the delivery of branch outcomes aligned with our strategic direction
* Undertake administrative tasks that contribute to business activities and project management
* Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders and partners
* Respond to enquiries and complaints with professionalism and cultural sensitivity
* Contribute to a culturally safe workplace, supporting strategies for working with diverse communities
Senior Engagement Officer Expectations:
* Deliver high-quality work aligned with Key Performance Measures and quality indicators
* Support coaching and mentoring within the team, fostering a positive culture
* Provide technical support, including interpretation of procedures and guidelines
* Conduct research and analysis on matters within area of expertise
* Analyse and evaluate information to inform decision-making and provide operational advice
* Represent the team in collaborative engagements
* Identify opportunities to enhance team performance and service delivery
A Current Australian driver's license is required for this role.
