Job Title: Swim Instructor
This casual role is available for an energetic and dynamic individual who is passionate about teaching swimming and water safety skills to children. The ideal candidate will have a flair for working with kids, excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles.
The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that cater to diverse age groups, abilities, and needs. They will also contribute to the growth of the swim program by developing effective teaching strategies and maintaining high standards of customer service.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Teach swimming and water safety skills to students of varying ages and abilities.
* Develop and implement lesson plans that promote student engagement and progress.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
* Provide exceptional customer service to parents and guardians.
* Promote the swim program through outreach and marketing activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A current First Aid and CPR certificate.
* A Working With Children Check and National Police Check.
* An AUSTSWIM Certificate - Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety.
* Previous experience in a comparable role is desirable but not essential.
