Are you a hands-on logistics leader with a passion for operational excellence? We're looking for a Transport Manager to take charge of our delivery operations and drive results across efficiency, compliance, and customer service.
At Lawrence Dry Cleaners and Commercial Laundry, we're a leading commercial laundry service, trusted by hospitality and Airline clients across the region. Our business depends on reliable, timely, and professional logistics — and that's where you come in.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of professional drivers and a fleet of delivery vehicles (Including vehicle and tail gate servicing).
Oversee daily delivery schedules, routing, and fleet utilisation for maximum efficiency
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
Liaise closely with clients and internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and timely service
Track and report on logistics KPIs, including:
DIFOT (Delivery In Full, On Time)
Cost per run
Km per delivery
Vehicle downtime
Champion safety, preventative maintenance, and driver wellbeing
Continuously improve transport systems and delivery performance
About You
Proven experience in transport, logistics, or fleet management (3+ years preferred)
Strong knowledge of CoR, NHVR, fatigue management, and road compliance regulations
Analytical mindset with ability to optimise routes and control costs
Excellent communication and people leadership skills
Proficient with logistics software and route planning tools
Adaptable, proactive, and customer-focused
