Mine Maintenance Reliability Engineer Role
As a Mine Maintenance Reliability Engineer at our mine site, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our equipment and machinery.
The Greenstone Mine is an open-pit gold mine that commenced production in 2024, with a projected life span of 14 years. We are committed to excellence in safety, environmental stewardship, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Familiarize yourself with and adhere to all relevant safety policies and best practices, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
* Routine maintenance and analysis of oil samples and vibration data to ensure early detection of potential issues.
* Lead predictive maintenance programs, monitoring systems, and integration with external services, providing expert recommendations for preventive/corrective actions.
* Collaborate with senior maintenance personnel to prioritize tasks, optimize workflows, and enhance overall efficiency.
* Analyze downtime records, develop and report key performance indicators (KPIs), and propose solutions to minimize operational disruptions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
* Eligibility for registration as an Engineer-in-Training within Ontario.
* Valid Canadian driver's license.
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in mobile equipment maintenance.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and Office 365, with experience in CMMS software an asset.
