Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled mental health professional to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will work in collaboration with healthcare professionals, child and family services, education providers, and community-based organizations to deliver high-quality mental health services.


About the Role

The Clinical Nurse Specialist - CAMHS will be responsible for undertaking assessments, care planning, and delivering individual and group secondary level mental health interventions to children and families. They will also develop and support collaborative care partnerships with service providers, collect and review client and service outcome data, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

* Deliver high-quality mental health services to children and families
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with healthcare professionals, child and family services, and community-based organizations
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development


Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a strong background in mental health nursing, with experience working with children and families. A current Working with Children Registration and registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse are also essential requirements.


Desirable Qualifications:

* Minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience in an area relevant to the role
* Postgraduate qualification or working towards a postgraduate qualification relevant to the role


Benefits

This is a permanent full-time position, offering a salary range of $106,570 to $112,440 per annum. Additionally, employees may be eligible for salary packaging, travel and relocation assistance, professional development opportunities, and access to fitness facilities.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the essential criteria, including registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse and a current Working with Children Registration. Desirable qualifications include a minimum of 2 years postgraduate experience in an area relevant to the role, postgraduate qualification or working towards a postgraduate qualification relevant to the role, and a current Driver's Licence.
