About the Opportunity

The HealtheNet Developer Lead is a pivotal role within the HealtheNet Team, part of the Clinical Repositories and Integration Services Group in the Enterprise Services Directorate.

HealtheNet is a secure, statewide clinical portal that provides clinicians with immediate access to aggregated patient and clinical information sourced from NSW Health systems and My Health Record.

The Developer Lead is responsible for overseeing HealtheNet development activities, including understanding and documenting the solution architecture, design, and specifications and delivering all components of the development lifecycle.

All architecture, design and development work must align with the organisation's strategic plan, ICT operational processes and NSW Government policies.

About you

We are looking for an experienced Systems Developer who brings strong technical capability, problem solving skills and a commitment to delivering high quality digital health solutions. You will be someone who:

* Has extensive experience in system development, with a proven record of delivering complex development work within a large and diverse service organisation.
* Brings strong technical skills across:
o Rhapsody Professional training and experience
o Javascript, Oracle SQL, XML, HTML
o Web services (SOAP, REST)
o CloudOps
o (Desirable) Knowledge of CDA, and the Orion Health platform
* Demonstrates the ability to identify, analyse and resolve issues within a clinical health information environment.
* Can effectively prioritise work, manage competing deadlines, and maintain a strong customer-centred approach.
