Overview
We are seeking expressions of interest from talented Auslan interpreters. Working from home, you would join our Video Relay Service team delivering the National Relay Service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to the Deaf, speech communication difficulty and hard of hearing communities
- Provide an efficient response to customer requests
- Maintain strict confidentiality while dealing with personal and sensitive information in an accurate and careful manner

What we are looking for
- Wired NBN Internet Connection - minimum download 10mbs+, minimum upload 10mbs+
- Looking for Interpreters to work min. 8 hours a week Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm
- Saturday shift available 8am to 12noon - 25% penalty rate applies
- NAATI accredited Provisional Interpreters and Certified Interpreters
- 5+ years proven experience interpreting in a range of contexts within the Deaf community
- Understand and follow the Interpreter Code of Ethics
- Current ASLIA membership is preferable
- Be available to undertake 3 days of online training
