Renowned for its modern Italian-inspired cuisine, exceptional wine list and vibrant yet refined atmosphere, Vin Populi is seeking a passionate and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our accomplished team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan menus in consultation with chefs.
* Coordinate and organise special functions and events.
* Manage purchasing and pricing of goods in line with budget requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain the restaurant's cleanliness, functionality and presentation.
* Liaise with customers to ensure satisfaction with meals and service.
* Select, train and supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff.
* Assist with, greet guests and provide support to service operations as required.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Diploma in Hospitality Management or an equivalent qualification
* Minimum of 2 years' experience in a restaurant management or comparable leadership role (referees will be contacted)
* Excellent customer service, communication and leadership skills
* Strong understanding of Italian and European cuisine and contemporary dining trends
* Proven ability to collaborate effectively with the Executive Chef and senior management team
* Solid knowledge of Australian and European wines and food pairings
* Full-time, ongoing position
* Annual remuneration: $75,000– $85,000 per annum
* Work location: 9-13 High Street, Fremantle WA 6160
