**What We’re Looking For**: 
- Experience - Proven experience in payroll (minimum 5 years), accounts payable or a similar finance role desirable. 
- Technical Skills - Proficiency in accounting software (SyBiz suite desirable) and Microsoft Excel. 
- Attention to Detail - A meticulous approach to processing invoices and reconciling accounts. 
- Organisational Skills - Strong ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks effectively. 
- Team Collaboration - A friendly team player with excellent communication skills. 
- Customer Service Skills - Confidently assist customers with accounts queries and provide a high level of service to all stakeholders, internal and external 
- Problem-Solving - Confidence in resolving discrepancies and handling payment queries. 
We’re seeking a dedicated Payroll and Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team and play a vital role in managing the smooth operation of payroll and accounts payables. This full-time, permanent position offers a fantastic chance to be part of a collaborative and innovative organisation with support from an experienced team of finance professionals. 
**What You’ll Do**: 
- Actively review approved timesheets and process weekly payroll for 100+ employees across Australia 
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently within specified deadlines. 
- Reconcile supplier statements and promptly resolve discrepancies. 
- Manage payment runs, ensuring adherence to payment terms. 
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers regarding payment queries. 
- Contribute to month-end closing activities by providing necessary reports and information. 
- Assist with reception duties and answering the non-customer service phone line (mínimal call volume) 
- Support the wider finance team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
