We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Tyre Technician to join our team in a challenging and rewarding role.
Job Description:
Otraco International is a leading provider of Earthmover/Off-road tyre management services to the mining industry. As a Heavy Vehicle Tyre Technician, you will be working on various machinery, such as CAT 793F, CAT 789, and Haulmax Service trucks. You will be responsible for ensuring the tyres are fitted correctly, maintaining high standards of workmanship and adhering to all safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
* Inspect and maintain heavy vehicle tyres to ensure they are in good working condition
* Fitting and repairing tyres on a range of earthmoving equipment
* Working closely with the operations team to ensure efficient tyre maintenance
* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical Tyre Fitting Heavy (AUR*****/ AUR*****)
* Minimum 2 years of experience in fitting and repairing heavy vehicle tyres
* A valid HR Driving licence
* High initiative and attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure
