About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to join our team. This role can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis for the right candidate. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services essential to daily operations. You will play a key role in ensuring the timely procurement of quality materials at competitive prices to support production schedules, maintain inventory levels, and meet compliance standards.

The successful candidate will be based in Lara your responsibilities are
* Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement of high-quality materials and components
* Run and review Materials Requirements Planning (MRP)
* Manage purchase orders and requisitions from end to end
* Track orders, ensure on-time delivery, and resolve supply or quality issues
* Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, and terms to meet budget and delivery requirements
* Collaborate with engineering and production teams regarding material specifications and timelines
* Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking
* Maintain strong supplier relationships and regularly evaluate supplier performance
* Maintain accurate procurement records including contracts, pricing, and inventory reports
* Prepare reports and documentation as required
About You
* 3–5 years' experience in procurement, ideally within a manufacturing environment
* Working knowledge of ERP systems (Pronto preferred)
* Strong negotiation and Supplier management skills
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
* Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* A collaborative approach and willingness to work across teams
