Job Description
The DT Infrastructure team is seeking a qualified and experienced HR/IR Advisor to join the delivery team on a major renewable energy construction project. This is a site-based position with a rostered working arrangement, including accommodation and allowances as applicable.
This role will provide support to the HR/IR Manager, overseeing day-to-day workforce operations across the project site. Responsibilities include:
* Assisting with workforce reporting, including tracking of site headcount, turnover, and recruitment.
* Camp operations coordination and liaison with the camp operator, including roster management, room bookings, arrivals, and departures for all site-based employees and subcontractors.
* Liaising with the Camp Operator to resolve issues or complaints.
* Conducting audits of crib rooms, ablution blocks, camps, and bussing providers to ensure they meet DT Infrastructure standards.
* Workforce logistics liaison with the bussing provider to ensure effective DIDO operations.
* Promoting a positive camp and site culture by supporting wellbeing and engagement initiatives.
* Providing frontline HR support to DTI employees, escalating issues to the HR/IR Manager.
* Assisting with union ROEs for the site and maintaining the IR Risk Register for GRSF.
* Coordinating with Site Security to issue and maintain Site ID cards.
* Assisting with the demobilisation process for Project personnel following breaches of site alcohol and drug-related matters.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* A Bachelor of Human Resources and/or Business.
* Demonstrable and successful experience in a related human resources management/Advisor role, operating as an effective HR professional and credible, trusted advisor.
* Knowledge and sound understanding of contemporary HR management and workplace relations.
* Demonstrated ability to build relationships with key internal and external stakeholders/clients to support delivery and create business value.
* Ability to build and maintain a wide knowledge and understanding of the business environment and strategies, translating these into specific HR tactics and actions.
* Capacity to conduct investigations using best practice processes.
