Job Title: Asset and Facilities Support Officer
About the Role
This position is responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-focused strategies and administrative services to enable NSW SES to meet its operational and statutory requirements.
* Provide excellent customer service for all fleet-related enquiries.
* Perform various administrative tasks to support the fleet team.
* Manage and coordinate pool and executive fleet asset replacement schedules.
* Handle total loss insurance claims.
* Organise and respond to internal and external correspondence, including managing the Fleet inbox and Service Desk, in a timely and efficient manner.
* Process equipment orders and oversee communication and change management activities for the delivery of new assets and the collection of assets being retired from service.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Being organised, proactive and accountable and thriving in a complex and fast-paced environment.
* Having excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a responsive manner to provide effective and responsive customer service.
* Being a highly motivated individual with excellent organisational skills with the ability to remain calm and focused in challenging situations.
* Understanding program and project management methodologies and best practice.
* Having knowledge of NSW Government Procurement, Supply and Fleet policy and practices.
* Demonstrating ability to build and maintain strong working relationships.
