ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will take responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment, pre-employment and onboarding processes while ensuring high-quality, consistent, and contemporary HR practices.
The role provides guidance to hiring managers on merit-based selection, including shortlisting, interview preparation, and panel coordination, and oversees all administrative requirements to deliver a streamlined and positive recruitment experience.
Additionally, you will maintain accurate and compliant employee records through effective use of HRIS and associated systems, ensuring alignment with organisational and legislative requirements and providing responsive support to candidates, employees, and managers.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take on a 6-month full-time contract.
Once settled into this role, the successful applicant will have the flexibility to work from home on selected days.

Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a recruitment setting
* Excellent time management skills and demonstrated ability to coordinate your own administrative tasks
* Excellent computer literacy, including keyboard skills and spreadsheet utilisation with an aptitude for detail and accuracy
* Ability to work in a busy and challenging environment with a positive, friendly attitude
* Interpersonal skills necessary to empathise and communicate with employees at every level of the organisation and its stakeholders
* Knowledge of the SCHADS Award, Fair Work Act and National Employment Standards
* Ability to liaise with various similar organisations, community and vocational learning institutions
* Experience in a non-government organisation, particularly within Out of Home Care
* Experience working with HRIS, Employment Hero, Pay Cat Payroll and Rostering
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the interview process for vacant positions
* Oversee and provide guidance to staff on merit selection processes in shortlisting and interviewing applicants, including phone and face-to-face interviews
* Perform contemporary Human Resources functions and administrative duties
* Maintain staff files utilising Human Resource Information System (HRIS)
* Coordinate panel members, schedule and monitor administrative requirements for interviews, through to the induction of new staff members
* Handle administration, report writing and compliance responsibilities
* Contribute to a positive team culture

CASPA Services Ltd is a not-for-profit organisation providing a range of specialised care services to support complex trauma-based needs for children, young people, families, and people living with disabilities.
Our programs include Therapeutic Intensive Residential Care, Intensive Family Preservation, Therapeutic Foster Care, Restoration, and other associated care types.
