Overview
As the HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for providing HSE coaching & support, conducting workplace inspections, incident investigations, implementing and maintaining the WHS management and training framework and upholding quality & safety objectives.
In this role you will:
* Provide HSE, support and technical guidance for the daily operation of the mine site
* Support the identification of WHS hazards through quality and effective risk assessments and task observations
* Provide input to the compliance with and assurance of HSE standards, procedures & systems
* Support frontline staff and contractors in building, understanding of, and compliance with relevant company HSE requirements
* Coaching field leadership to further enhance a positive safety leadership culture
* Facilitate and coach high quality incident investigations (ICAM)
* Develop and deliver HSE content and programs for owner's team and contractor personnel
* Support legislative compliance and reporting for HSE execution, including external and regulatory reporting
About you
* Minimum 3 years of relevant HSE experience in a similar underground mining environment
* A likable, relatable, energetic and influential personality
* Demonstrated passion for Health and Safety in the workplace
* Ability to engage and work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders and influence diverse teams
* Understanding of South Australian mining HSE legislation and policies
Contract, location and duration
This position will commence immediately on an 8/6 FIFO roster ex Adelaide or Pt Augusta and excellent rates are on offer. Join an established organisation offering good structure and support, further career opportunities and a strong commitment to safety and quality. Camp accommodation provided.
This role is offered on an intitial 6 month casual contract. There is a possibility of a permamant role at the end of the contract for the right candidate.
