About the Role
As a
Sales Estimator
, you will be responsible for producing accurate cost estimates to support pre-construction sales activity. Working closely with drafting, engineering, procurement and construction teams, you will play a critical role in ensuring pricing accuracy, cost control and margin protection across all residential projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate sales estimates and pricing for residential builds.
Interpret drawings and specifications to prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
Ensure pricing aligns with sales and margin requirements in line with company policy.
Analyse design changes and assess cost impacts.
Liaise with draftspeople, engineers, builders, contractors and suppliers.
Assist with feasibility, design costing and option pricing for new and existing product ranges.
Monitor and maintain supplier pricing, cost schedules and internal estimating systems.
About You:
At least 2 years of sales estimating experience within residential homebuilding.
Proficiency in estimating software, particularly DataBuild.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Strong ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
