OverviewAbout the role: Python Developer – 12 month contractReporting to the Data Governance Leader, the Python Dev will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering the implementation of the Data Gov platform, ensuring it is robust, scalable, and aligned with organisational data quality objectives.
Responsibilities include:Design, build, and deploy robust data quality checks and monitoring pipelines using the platform within AWS cloud services.Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts to support the integration and scaling of Monte Carlo across diverse data sources.Collaborate with Data Analysts, Engineers, and Governance teams to define and implement data quality rules and expectations.Ensure seamless integration of the platform with AWS-native tools such as S3, Glue, Redshift, and Lambda.Contribute to documentation, testing, and user training to support adoption and long-term maintainability of the Data Gov platform.Be Impactful when you are applyingYou are a hands-on Data Engineer with a strong background in Python development and experience working in cloud-native environments, particularly AWS.
