We have a fantastic permanent full-time opportunity for a Government & Assurance Manager to join our Safety, Health & Wellbeing team. We have offices based in both Surry Hills and Bella Vista and work flexibly.

**About the Opportunity
**- Provide timely and expert advice on legislative requirements and ensure our systems and processes meet our legislative obligations..
- Identity and research emerging issues, trends and risks relevant to the Supermarkets business, including monitoring of legislative changes.
- Monitor compliance to process adherence to help reduce risk
- Development and effective implementation of internal assurance programs, including alignment with internal stakeholders.
- Development and delivery of regular reporting on safety, health and wellbeing performance
**About you
- Tertiary qualifications in safety, health and wellbeing or equivalent and/or relevant industry experience
- 8+ years experience in safety, health and wellbeing (ideally in FMCG, retail, customer focused or fast paced business)
- Extensive legislative and assurance experience, including dealing with regulators and external auditing bodies
- Comprehensive understanding of State and Territory legislative requirements
- A strong track record of measurable achievements in previous safety, health and wellbeing roles
