Emergency Communications Role
This position involves receiving and processing emergency and non-emergency triple zero calls from the public and other emergency service agencies. Every day is different, with a high level of attention to detail required in a busy environment.
Responsibilities:
* Receive and process triple zero calls under pressure
* Multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
* Communicate effectively with callers, showing empathy and adapting style to the situation
* Maintain a calm, resilient composure in stressful situations
Requirements:
1. Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with multiple software systems
2. Have proven persistence and good decision-making capabilities
3. Be tech savvy with ability to learn quickly
4. Develop capability while embracing constructive feedback
