We are seeking a dedicated and motivated full time Anatomical Pathology Registrar to join our dynamic and supportive team of pathologists. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to develop your diagnostic, technical, and professional skills within a large, high-quality private pathology practice.
About the role
As an Anatomical Pathology Registrar, you will work under the supervision of experienced consultant pathologists, gaining exposure to a wide range of pathology subspecialties including: Dermatopathology, Cytopathology, Gastrointestinal pathology, Gynaecologic and breast pathology, Urologic pathology and Oral pathology.
You will participate in specimen dissection, slide review, frozen sections, case discussions, and multidisciplinary meetings. You will also contribute to teaching, audit, and quality assurance activities within the department.
About you
* Hold a primary medical qualification registrable with AHPRA.
* Be enrolled in or eligible for the RCPA Anatomical Pathology training program.
* Demonstrate a commitment to diagnostic excellence, continuous learning, and professional development.
* Exhibit strong communication and teamwork skills, with an interest in contributing to a collaborative medical environment.
