Today, WLDM operates with a globally distributed team of 100+, supporting a growing pipeline of enterprise and high-impact clients worldwide. As the company scales, we are now seeking a senior operational leader to help guide WLDM into its next chapter.
About the Role
WLDM is looking for a Head of Operations / Chief Operating Officer to partner closely with the CEO and take ownership of how the business operates at scale.
This is a full-time role with part-time available to the right candidate.
This role exists to bring clarity, structure, and operational excellence across the agency, ensuring that strategy translates into execution, and that execution remains consistent as the company grows.
You will be accountable for the effective running of the business across operations, finance, HR, marketing, and data science, working through functional leads and teams.
This is a hybrid role, with in-person collaboration in Byron Bay / Mullumbimby three days per week, alongside flexible work arrangements.
You'll Be Empowered To
* Take full ownership of business operations, finance, people leadership and execution
* Translate priorities into clear plans and outcomes
* Bring structure, cadence, and accountability across teams
* Strengthen client delivery, quality, and operational consistency
* Own financial visibility: forecasting, cashflow, margins, and commercial discipline
* Establish clear operating rhythms (OKRs/KPIs, reporting, cross-team alignment)
* Improve systems, processes, and internal workflows so the business can scale smoothly
* Act as a trusted partner to the CEO, flagging issues early and fixing them pragmatically
You Likely Have
* Experience running operations in a 7–8 figure business (agency or services environment strongly preferred)
* A track record of getting things done reliably in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
* Strong financial literacy and experience overseeing budgets, cashflow, and profitability
* Experience leading distributed or remote teams
* Experience working closely with a founder and helping translate vision into execution
* A practical, systems-oriented mindset with strong follow-through
* Clear written and verbal communication
